Grey’s Anatomy SPOILERS below the cut.

Yeah, yeah, I knew they were going to kill Izzie the day she declined her award because, in her opinion, her character’s lines were not up to snuff!

But not GEORGE! What are they doing? I mean, they couldn’t make it work when they were together, so why on earth would we feel even remotely OK with George dying to be with Izzie in the afterlife?

And by the way, I knew something was wrong because we saw George for two seconds in the first hour and then everyone was planning all the things they would say to him but then we never saw him again! But I admit to being clueless about the bus victim until the 007 moment, at which time, I will cheerfully admit, every single hair from my neck down stood on end.

Not George!

I’m here because I’m lonely. I’m here because people who are lonely in the same way I am lonely have a very hard time finding each other. .

Being hearing impaired / deaf is lonely.
Having bipolar disorder is lonely.
Being an undergraduate student in your mid-thirties is lonely.
Being a Biblical Studies major is lonely.
Being infertile is lonely.

And even though it shouldn’t be, being desperately in love with God is sometimes the loneliest feeling there is.

So there it is. I’m dropping any attempt to be slick or intellectual or one of the cool kids. I’m just here to share the things I struggle with, the things I’m trying to understand and the things I am learning.
